I booked this tour with Louise from "I Love Noumea Tours" prior to leaving for our cruise from Sydney to the South Pacific. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we had to change the date of our tour with Louise, Louise was quick to come back and cater to our requirements.
Our tour group was my wife and I, so we had a very personal tour, Louise was so knowledgeable about her homeland and her people and her culture as well as the history of New Caledonia.. We were very fortunate to have Louise's husband, who was on holidays at the time, do the tour with us and he was also very knowledgeable about the people, city and surrounds. I would thoroughly recommend "I Love Noumea Tours", Louise and Numa (Louise's husband) made our tour very worthwhile and enjoyable. The tour, in comparison to the tour proposed by our cruise ship, was way cheaper, more personal with an option for lunch at a restaurant or a picnic on the beach which was at our cost. We chose the picnic on the beach which was very pleasant with great food from a local bakery.

The day tour with Louise was simply the best way to discover Noumea but also the history and the cultures of New Caledonia !!
She knows the island so well !!!
Moreover, the tour came out much cheaper than those proposed on board or by other tour operators!! Louise clearly delivers her tours for the love of her island, and not for the money.

Louise tailored our tour to what our group wanted so we got the most out our short time in the city (cruise ship visit).
We visited the waterfront market for some shopping, numerous look-offs with amazing vistas, a stop at a bakery/deli so we could buy items for a picnic lunch which we ate at a beautiful beach that was uncrowded and had great swimming and snorkeling.
Thanks Louise for a wonderful day in paradise.

We booked a private tour for 2 couples with I❤️ Noumea Tours on-line. Louise’s response was quick and clear and she was very willing to customize our tour and provide some great recommendations.
Louise met us promptly at the cruise terminal and was warm and welcoming. Her van was clean, comfortable and nicely air-conditioned. We began at a lovely stone church; enjoyed a local market, stopped at several stunning lookout points and beaches; picked up a picnic lunch at a luscious French bakery and enjoyed eating it at Parc Zoologique et Forestier.
After lunch, we strolled through a network of paths through the park and were delighted to see a pair of cagou feeding their chubby chick.
Louise has a large family clan and we happened to see and chat with several throughout the tour, which really made our day.
Louise grew up in New Caledonia and kindly shared her deep knowledge about the community, the culture and customs of this beautiful island. I highly recommend you enjoy a tour with Louise or the other personable ladies of I ❤️ Noumea Tours - it will be the highlight of your travels!

Thank you so much for your kind review. Our tour war so unusual, I really appreciate your original choices wih having a stop at the temple and share a picnic at the parc forestier, giving us the opportunity to see the cagou's parents feeinf their baby. It was also a special day for me. I wish to all of you a wonderful time in Singapour and a merry Christmas in Seattle !

We booked The Great South tour going to a prony and Yate
We had co-guudes Louise and Veronique and they were both amazing! Very friendly and laid back, had a wealth of knowledge that they were happy to share and great sense of humor.
We drove to Prony Prison first where we explored for a bit and then headed across to Yate; first stopping at a nice waterfall that was only a short walk away.
After the waterfall we went to Yate and stopped at a restaurant for lunch which was right on the beach and super cute. Our tour included 1 main meal each plus dessert. The view was great!
After lunch we went to visit a church (again on the waterfront) and next to a Catholic primary school.
We were lucky enough to meet the chief of the local village and were invited onto his property to share a coffee/tea. He is 82 years old and his daughter looks after him - both extremely friendly and welcoming! It was so interesting to see where the chief lived.
After that we headed back to noumea and stopped at a little shop that sold "the best milkshakes on the island".
One lady waiting in line drove 30 minutes from the North especially for a milkshake!
After that we were dropped back at the hotel.
I highly recommend this company as you can Learn more about the history and culture with a guide that has lived there and also can visit places you would never be able to do on your own e.g the chiefs house

Dear visiteurs from new zealand,
It was for us a real pleasure to meet you. We spend a wonderful day sharing our culture, very interesting for us to discover your Maori culture. It was the first time for me to hear about explication of at ta moko and the custom about it. Thanks for this cultural exchange and for your recommendation. All the best for you.

4 of us took a 2 hour tour with Louise. She was waiting for us at the Terminal, as arranged. She is a most friendly, relaxed guide who took us to all the major sights, explained what we were seeing, without overloading us with too much detail, as some guides tend to do. The visit to the markets, to beautiful lookouts and a general introduction to the area, was exactly what we wanted on a quick visit to Noumea.
I would highly recommend Louise, who is flexible and happy to tailor the tour to guests' interests.

My family and I (2 adults and 2 kids) will be taking a cruise from the 31/3/18 to the 7/4/18 via P&O. We will be stopping at Noumea for one day.
We would like a guided tour of the island. Could you please advise if you will be able to pick us up from the port and provide a guided tour for one day and how much it will be?
