There really is very little here. It's a collection of older buildings, which contain a public library, a small theatre and a couple of galleries. There's also a restaurant. Possibly the best reason to visit is that it has a balcony that looks out over...More

Great place to visit while in Asuncion. You have Art galleries, theater, plays and the finish with a drink with a great view to the Lopez's Palace (President's administrative office). Come and visit, you won't regret it

Manzana de la Rivera are several houses of the colonial period nice and well mantained, close to the Government Palace. There is a library at one of the buildings and a Museum with artifacts, drawings and photographs of old Asunción.

This is a group of old houses joined up into a common space. They have kept the colonial structure. There's a library inside with really friendly staff. You may run into an art exhibit that's going on. There's also a restaurant in it.. if you...More

The museum itself is quite interesting but we all peferred the buildings themselves. Entry is free and you'll need 30-60 minutes depending on what is being shown.

We entered on a day without any cultural events that usually take place here. Yet is was a nice and quiet day. The restored colonial houses and the garden offered nice picture motives. The public library is also in this building complex. Not full of...More
