The issue with this place is it’s too restricted, you feel like the guards will shoot you at any moment. Definitely not welcoming. I think it’s beautiful to see regardless, perhaps during the day from the costanera, and then come in the evening and have...More

This building looks great from the outside but it is not permitted to enter or get that close. I happened to be there when they were preparing for a change of PM so there were an impressive array of flags outside. There is a nice...More

The best impression one gets from this building is the British influence in original infrastructure, but more modern government buildings tend to be depressing Soviet-influenced architecture.

The government palace is located in the historical center, close to the Paraguay river. Unfortunately, due to security, one cannot get to close to it, so I had to take pictures from a reasonable distance. However, at the back of the palace there is a...More

Right next to the Costaner (river walk) nice place for pics, this is where the president works! The picture here is white, but it is actually a pink color now because the restored the building to its original way.

On dark time better to look around only in company of locals whom you know. On day time all the places I have been are quiet and safe enough. For travelling inside country they do have quit nice buses.
