Located in Bolivar Square, this is the largest cathedral in Colombia and one of the largest in South America. It's a magnificent example of neoclassical architecture and is filled with colonial paintings and ornate decorations.

A build made of marble, with great statues, it's a nice place if you like constructions like this, near the cathedral you'll find food and other wonders of this historical place constructed nearly 200 years ago.
The Spanish marked every important city with a square or a plaza, accompanied by a huge church! Bogota is no less than that. This is a gorgeous structure, designed to magnify the influence of the Church beyond the philosophical stand point of it.
Another landmark in Bogota. Chances are, if you are in Candelaria, you will find yourself at this square so you might as well check this out. Beautiful cathedral. I love the chapel next door as well. I really liked the wall paintings.
