The Casa del Florero is a nicely restored colonial house right across from the Cathedral. If you speak Spanish be sure to take a guided tour. I especially enjoyed the lengthy explanation about cultural blending in colonial and modern Colombia.

This museum is located in a very important area for Colombia's independence history. It is small, but full of interesting information. I especially enjoyed the interactive activities to make you engage with the material. My only issue is the lack of information in English.

This place was the starting point of the colombian independence campaign, in 1810. The muesum is an interesting collection of historic items, developing a tour through Bogota's history, from the colony to current times. Recomended, but a better guidance would be very appreciated.

very interactive and self-explicative. If you could take a tour with a person who know very well the history of the place is going to be better.

This tiny museum is easily visited being just on the corner of the Plaza de Bolívar. The entrance fee of 3000 pesos is good value for a wander around for about an hour or so. Most of the exhibits are in spanish but you get...More
