The place is very busy, lots of people coming there to sell things and lots of places for piercing and tattoos. Nice square.

We walked through here on a weekend when it was extremely busy. It had a nice atmosphere but not a place to sit and relax. More somewhere to hang with locals and tourists. I would recommend visiting only during the day. A girl we met...More

This small plaza, apparently recently renovated, is cute and pleasant with a small old chapel and a few other small old buildings around it as well as some newer ones. It is primarily significant as the place where the Spanish Conquistador Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada...More

The square is likely to be the oldest part of Bogota. The are some nice streets around and there are a lot of students hanging around the place.

This is a very touristic spot, but it's worth it. The area has very quaint streets and cool bohemian restaurants. It also has a lot of graffitis and available free tours. It's really worth it.
