This is very worthwhile, especially if you like Botero's art. We had been aware of his style and some of his work for some time, but were not familiar with the sculptures that he crafted.

Museo Botero is the best place in Bogotá to get to see the colombian painter most incredible master pieces. All the collection was donated by the artist itself and Colombian Central Bank dedicated an entire new gallery on Bogotá dowtown inside an historical building. You...More

This was the highlight of my experience in Bogota. Botero generously donated his own works of art, along with more in his collection including Picasso and Degas. His works include a self portrait, all of his paintings portray subjects grossly overweight.

This art gallery is free and features many of Botero's paintings and some sculptures. However the gallery also showcases other artists such as Picasso and Degas. Worth the trip.

I did not see wheelchairs as they have in New York. Only the first floor would be possible but there are a few steps up from the street. This museum is in a 250 year old home, so it's not like the Museo de Oro, modern and... More

2 hours works. But if you really love to see deeply all the works. You could spend as much as 3-4 hours.
