Its a wonderful museum, with history everywhere you look. Paintings, dresses, and old furniture makes the perfect ambiance to walk thru the history of the colonization of Colombia. Worth visiting!

The place is having a nice chiostro, which for me was the best thing that I saw here. The museum is well organised for those interested to know more about colonial art, old paintings and history.

Pretty cool museum. Interesting paintings with a variety of styles. Was fairly impressed with it, as I was not thinking much just from viewing the building on the outside.

Recently reopen, shows paintings and handrafts from the colonnial period XVI, XVII Y XWII siecles. Magnificent religious wood crafts representing Jesus , Maria Virgin, saints. Paints of Jesus, Saints the colonial leaders. Good exhibition, nice colonial house located at the historic center of Bogotá.

It has glossed over the slavery aspect of colonization, however, calling the arrival of Africans a "migration" and describing how much the indigenous people benefitted from colonization (!!)
