Recently reopen, shows paintings and handrafts from the colonnial period XVI, XVII Y XWII siecles. Magnificent religious wood crafts representing Jesus , Maria Virgin, saints. Paints of Jesus, Saints the colonial leaders. Good exhibition, nice colonial house located at the historic center of Bogotá.

I loved this museum. It is well-curated, and informative. The artwork is stunning. It has glossed over the slavery aspect of colonization, however, calling the arrival of Africans a "migration" and describing how much the indigenous people benefitted from colonization (!!) Otherwise an organized history...More

Its a wonderful museum, with history everywhere you look. Paintings, dresses, and old furniture makes the perfect ambiance to walk thru the history of the colonization of Colombia. Worth visiting!
