Like orchids? This is the place to go. Tired of the urban Bogota and do not want to travel far? That´s the place to go. Quiet, green, many of the best flowers, butterflies and Colombian diversity. Very cheap way of spending time in Bogota and...More

Liking this place will depend a lot on what you like and where you come from, I found it nice, but, most of the plants I find in my home town so it was not that spectacular for me.

Beautiful sunny walk through the botanical gardens. Roses, cacti, palm trees, hummingbirds, sunflowers, lakes, firs. Would have given a 5 but for all the building work closing off large parts of the park. Very cheap to enter 2,700 pesos or about 66p.

Affordable and definitely worth a visit, but when we visited there was work ongoing which meant we couldn't visit the tropical section. Plenty of nice flowers and walkways, would have liked if there were a few more birds to see too. I'd have given it...More

A lovely, well designed botanical garden, made all the better by a food fair while we were there. We spent 2-3 hours walking, if you have a specific interest you will give it longer.

At first, my boyfriend and I were trying to see the best out of this park. Wondering between dead trees, dead leaves, plastic bags and yellow security lines that could make you think that something bad happened... Then came the light at the end of...More

I do not think the Botanic garden allows "pets" - then again, they might charge you a fee if they allow you to bring it in. I am assuming it is not a "service" animal (assisting a person with limited sight)
