The Botanical Garden is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Great place to view birds and insects, as well as to admire the beautiful displays showcasing flora from around the country.

For only 2700 colombian pesos for an adult, this is a great place to come and escape the bustle and traffic of Bogota. It's a little difficult to get to, but it's possible to take the Transmilenio rapid bus and then walk through a series...More

It was nice to get out of the traffic and activity that is Bogota. However, if, like me, you are a plant enthusiast, then go with very low expectations. This is not a sophisticated botanical garden such as you'll find in Cape Town, Sydney or...More

The garden is lovely though not really different than other such gardens I've seen. However, some plants are more unique. Just being outdoors in a different cultural setting on a nice day was well worth the time.

I do not think the Botanic garden allows "pets" - then again, they might charge you a fee if they allow you to bring it in. I am assuming it is not a "service" animal (assisting a person with limited sight)
