This well-manicured, lovingly tended garden is the oasis of Bogotá. It is well organized and plants are clearly marked. Guided tours are available in Spanish in the afternoon.

When the new tropical greenhouses open next year, it will be a stunning visit. The 'páramo' area is interesting and gives a view above the oasis of trees.

I do not think the Botanic garden allows "pets" - then again, they might charge you a fee if they allow you to bring it in. I am assuming it is not a "service" animal (assisting a person with limited sight)
