This green space is nice, a bit close to the airport area. For getting there from the nacional museum the taxi costs 11.000cop and the entrance 2.700cop . The space seems to be not so well curated.

This is a lovely and quite place! I try to visit it almost every weekend. You can see different birds (including hummingbirds). You are not allowed to introduce food in the park, so you cannot make picnics. I think that's why is soooo clean.

Be sure to spend at least 3 hours exploring this beautiful botanical garden in the heart of the city. Don't miss it. The entrance fee is 2700 COP (around $1 American dollar) and you can get there in taxi for less than $5 dollars.

Lovely garden grounds. The orchid green house is exceptional as are all of the roses! Great place to stroll when the weather is nice!

We visited the gardens after a walk through Simon Bolivar park. The gardens are very well tended and laid out with different themes. One area had lots of hummingbirds. It's also very close to the airport - so great for plane spotting if you enjoy...More

Small parking lot, I spend nearly 20 minutes in line just to get inside the parking lot. I recommend go by taxi or bus. No maps: it was only one map on the entrance, and you have to take the picture, but they have every...More

Spent a few hours on a Sunday afternoon wandering through the botanical garden. Filled with locals coming to enjoy a peaceful Sunday afternoon with their families. One area had booths set up with books people could borrow. They were encouraged to grab a book, lay...More

In the gardens there no really many impressive plants or trees. It is a bit overrated. I liked though the tall palmeras very very much.

To be honest, visiting this park was not a revelation for me. You can visit it best to relax in the green if time enough besides the major sights of Bogota.

Stopped by the Botanical garden on our way to the airport (we had 2 hours before having to be at BOG), and this was such a great place to spend the remainder of our time! Biodiverse, quiet and beautiful setting. Highly recommend. Please note that...More

I do not think the Botanic garden allows "pets" - then again, they might charge you a fee if they allow you to bring it in. I am assuming it is not a "service" animal (assisting a person with limited sight)
