the Playa Mansa, unlike the nearby Playa Brava it is usually quite calm and uncrowded. If you want the crowds you can set your towel out near the Paradas (or small beach side restaurants with beach amenities) but otherwise this is a very long sandy...More

Great infrastructure, specially if you are a guest of Conrad Hotel. There is a kiosk selling Corn, which is the only healthy food available in the beach.

I can see why this area is the place for the rich and famous South Americans to hang out! It is a great beach with all sorts of water activities and rentals. It is quite expensive by any standards.

Excellent to go with the family, avoid first fortnight of January, too crowded. March is the best month.

Very relaxing, although if you can drive, I recommend visiting Jose Ignacio and Rocha for more peaceful, natural beaches. Piriapolis is nice too if you rather visit a busy spot with cheaper restaurants.

Calm water, ideal for kids, & endless beach Nice whitish sand but chilly the day we were there - many people sunbathing but not many swimming
