The beauty of this wonderful marvel cannot be described in written. I doubt whether if there's any language, any medium of communication which can help me to describe the beauty of this place. The sunny weather, the green flora , the stunning white colored marble, the melodious Azaan , the rich architecture make this place a must visit in UAE.

I went to the mosque in an afternoon/evening and took one of the tours. The tour guide was very helpful and friendly and the mosque itself was beautiful. I was there during sunset and it was totally worth it. Afterwards, I think it could be summed up by a quote from Ron Swanson of Parks and Rec–"Say what you will... More

Very worth the visit! Taxis are cheap and they give a very comfortable outfit for women to wear! Tours are free and you get to learn of Sheikh Zayed and Islam. Recommended for people of all religions to visit!

I visited the Grand Mosque as part of a city tour, and returned in the evening on a private visit for night photography. The building both inside and out is breathtaking, but can get very busy at peak periods. Please observe the strict dress codes and secuirty procedures before visiting.

This was my first time to visit a mosque, and it was absolutely stunning. Even if you are in Abu Dhabi for a short time, this is definitely worth a visit. If you are not sure what to wear (like I was), do not worry as they will provide you appropriate wear for both men and women to put over... More

One of the largest mosques in the world. An architectural marvel. Very spacious, very elegant. Beautiful ornaments reminding me of the Taj Mahal. Watch out for the very strict dressing code - especially for women. A great sight. A must see.

No words can describe how much this place is spectacular and picturesque! Worth to go at 4-4.30 to see the Mosque during the daylight and then when sun goes down - in its blue lights.. Amazing!

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is beauty in all it's forms. With over 1000 marble domes and arches the mosques beauty by day and night is a must see attraction. The professionalism of staff and tour guides must be commended. My suggestion would be to arrive at the mosque at around 16:30 and do a self tour for pics for... More
