We participated in the Art Workshop which was being promoted as part of the Hajj Exhibition. The workshop was well organised and we were given one to one attention making this a truly enjoyable experience

And we have seen many. We easily took a cab out to mosque from our hotel. Spent 2 hours visiting. You need to wear a robe and scarf. We easily found a taxi back. Highly recommended.

Even if you aren't of this religion, a visit to this mosque a must-see on any visit to Abu Dhabi. The art work is exquisite! Ladies, be advised of the dress restrictions or you'll be borrowing an abaya.

Worth a stop to see - dress approximately - cover-ups are available. Easy to get to by taxi vs being part of a bus tour . Note buses sometimes have to wait until time of entry.

Be reminded to be respectful. Bit irritating to have to put on an abaya but actually set the scene perfectly. The place is grand and beautiful.

Took the half day tour of Abu Dhabi and a tour of the Grand Mosque was part of the itinerary. Breathtaking architecture and craftsmanship. One has to be present in the mosque to appreciate the size, grandness and splendor of the place.

Very peaceful. You have to wear the traditional wear to enter and also the same for women who have to wear the abaya.

We visited the mosque during our vacation. It’s closed on Friday so we went on Wednesday evening. The architecture is very impressive and doing the tour you can find the details which blow you away. We had planned our visit around Sunset. Arrived during daylight...More

No, not at the mosque. I would bring some packaged snacks or mini-meal if you feel you might get hungry. I would allow the low end of 35 minutes to as long as 2 hours to soak this beautiful place up. You are in Abu Dhabi... More
