A little gem! I really enjoyed my visit. The greenhouses are modest but beautifully maintained and the staff are very helpful and obviously proud of the gardens. The visit is not too long but very pleasant and manageable for anyone who is not able to walk too far. Thank you Kuwait!

I imagine life outside this garden is highly over-rated, because once you're in there you feel sedated to the bustle you just came in from. Even though its only open Thursdays from 9 am - 1 noon, this is the one place I'd be sure to skip a working day for. With guards all around, its easy to be distracted , but you settle in that cozy corner where the heat of the sun balances out the cool breeze, you're just in heaven. Not a lot of botany happening, but I really didn't care just loved being lazy and relaxed in surroundings fit for a king.

The garden is small. You can watch all of it within 15 minutes. No chairs in the garden only in one place when you finish the garden. Visit the garden in winter. It is a good place to breath clean air

Bayan Botanical Garden is one of the must visit places in Kuwait. It is small but very well maintained. It has different types of plants in three connected glass domes. Different types of cactus , rainforest plants etc are very meticulously nurtured inside the green house. There are artificial waterfalls, fountains too. The area outside the greenhouse is also very beautiful to walk but not allowed for common public to roam around just like that. Since there is restriction for food/ drink the overall cleanliness is maintained nicely. The employees are also very humble and friendly.

Few points to remember if planning a visit
1. Only open to public on Thursdays between 9 am to 1 pm.
2. Civil id/ passport is must to get the entry. ( there is no entry fees)
3. No food or drinks allowed inside. ( water or small chocolate etc can be consumed in the lobby area). There is no restaurant outside also.
4. Some nationality people are not allowed inside because of security.
5. 95% area is stroller or wheelchair accessible.
6. Absolutely children friendly unless the kid is too much interested in tearing leaves.

Well it is hard to believe there is garden in kuwait like. The garden is well planted and it has a lot of trees. The only downside to it is it only opens a few hours every Thursday for public as it mainly used to host the foreign dignitaries by the government.

A nice green place to visit. Free entry. suitable for children and adults. Some of the plants represent kuwait natral habitats, others are imported. its more like walking into a mini forest.wish they expand it more and perhaps add a coffee break.

Bayan Botanical Garden is in Bayan Palace Area and it is covered under glass roofs. Though it is a small place , a visit to see various types of plants under one roof will be interesting. Different types of plants are maintained under the glass domes . Garden is open only on Thursday between 9.00 AM till 1.00 PM.. An ID is required to enter the Garden . Entrance to the Garden is Free. No Foods or Drinks are not allowed .
