Great bar for hanging out, they have a happy hour from 18:00 till 20:00 and they have realy good food. You can even come late at night for a drink and still feel at home. Great for a drink on the bar by your self and for a group of friends hanging out (did both and had a great time)

I'm an Israeli who lives in USA for the past 8 years
I actually visited BEGBIE a few times on my last trip to Israel
great staff , perfect location for my stay (close to the beach , hotels area and the center )
this is exactly what I'm looking for when going into a bar
Yoav , Erlich , and gal and the rest of the staff always recognized me and made sure I'm happy ;)
Cool interior design and perfect interaction with the people around you
I want to thank you guys one more time
And I'll make sure to be back on my next visit

Great food and drinks, beautiful people and awesome music. Highly recommended if you are in Tel aviv, by yourself or with friends. Do NOT miss out on checking it out.

We went there after searching, using tripadviser ,after successful place to spend Friday night on the middle of the summer. Don't understand how come that a place located in the center of TLV has no more than 20~ people...at the time that most pubs in this area are completely full.

Super location to relax. Good music. Small but a lot of opportunities to chat to other people. Outstanding service from the lady at the bar. Talked a lot and very charming. For sure will be back next time. Not too many people on Wednesday but was good and short walking distance from the hotel. Worth going here when you stay close.

Tel Aviv night life is a known phenomenon but finding a place like Begbie ain't easy- the drinks are served quickly and the bartenders are real professionals who know what they are doing, from serving your Guinness with the correct two pour to mixing whichever rare cocktail you want! Beyond that the food is amazing (try the cheeseburger) and isn't another smelly kitchen bar but top level cocking at a very fair price..!
Obviously I can't make any promises to anyone going there but - in the number of time I've been coming there the extremely nice staff always invited me and the random people drinking on the bar (and on the tables) to free shots!! I can only assume it's a factor of how much you consume on your own dime, but they didn't have to do it at all and getting a few vodka/whisky shots "on the house" over an evening of drinking attests in my opinion to the warmth and attitude of the owners and working staff..
I'll be coming again to Begbie when i'm back in Tel Aviv for sure! Drink responsively (or not.. ;)
