This is a place to buy a nice lunch at the market, go shopping or have a night out in a club. The market has two parts: one outside and one air-conditioned inside. I'd recommend the pastrami sandwich from the deli, goat cheese with onion seeds or a fresh fruit juice.

Nice place to visit at the north end of all the Tel Aviv beaches. A good place to start and/or end an enjoyable walk or bicycle trip down the Tel Aviv promenade, all the way to Jaffa port and back if you have the time and energy. Bicycles and electric scooters are readily available for rent all along the way. The port has a boardwalk with places to sit and look at the waves, an area for skate boarding and even a carousel. There are shops and boutiques and a variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants from which to choose. It’s an especially lively place on weekends with nice weather.

A wonderful area with restaurants, cafes and shops of many different types from boutiques to the flea market. The vibe is laid back and friendly with everyone of all backgrounds getting on well. The seafront is a short walk away and you can then go as far as you want watching the surfers or the volleyball players and hearing the waves crash on the shore. Modern Tel Aviv is easily accessible and a trip to Carmel market is a must, but remember to haggle!

Great place to hang around, enjoy the sunset and listen to the sea. Worth visiting on Friday morning for vibrant farmers market experience. Although pricey, but delicious and fresh!

There were a lot of people enjoying the water, the restaurants, the views and the sun & shade. The sand was like white powder and the entire area was very clean. They even had areas that were workout stations. Nice "eye candy"!

As a port it worked between 1938 and 1965.
Currently the area has been restored including restaurants and small shops. There is the possibility to ride offshore with small or steamy boats.
You can walk along the sea on the cliff listening to the sound of the waves or watch the amateur fishermen.

The promenade that takes you from midcity Beaches up to the old port area is as good as anywhere in the world… The Mediterranean is off to one side and you get treated with lots of cool stores to stop on if you fancy some shopping… And they’re nice stores too! this is a cool area of town to explore if you want some shopping with panache..

We went to the port hoping for some interesting shops and a place for lunch. What we found was lots of restaurants, and a few high-end North American shops (like Steve Madden and Reebok). The view over the Mediterranian was spectacular, but it certainly wasn't what we were looking for.
