This is a must if you come visit OldTown Jerusalem. And along with this, you should definitely visit the Temple Mount (when it's open)! I visited both along with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, so what is most special to Jews, Muslims & Christians for the full experience of Old Town Jerusalem!
And what was most special of all, is that My Special Jewish Friend in My Holy Mission Global sensed when I prayed for him at the Western Wall! Simply Amazing! It definitely is powerful! xo~A +Q-S/

We did a tour with guides the day before, but it was crazy busy, so we didn’t get to the western wall. Tried the day of departure and was very pleased yogins parking nearby. Please note this is very hard!!
Please note that correct clothing is beleefd. Since this is religious place. Man and woman are separated into different areas, but all religions may enter

Visiting the Western Wall with lots of people lining up to kiss the wall, it would be helpful if you have pre-writen prayer requests and rolled so it would be easier to insert into the crevices of the wailing wall.

Seeing the Western Wall for the very first time is an amazing feeling. The profound attachment of Jewish people to this place and what it means to them is a very difficult concept to grasp for non Jews. The best way to understand that link between the place and the worshippers is to go to the wall and immerse yourself amongst them. That was for me a very intense spiritual experience, so much that I went back to pray to the wall several times during my stay. Note that there is a sex-segregated separation and that all males must wear a kippa (traditional jewish male head cover) to approach the wall. There are drinking water dispensers on the site and toilets.

A must and probably one of the main reasons to go to Jerusalem, go with a guide and visit the underground as well.

One of the more famous religious sites on the planet, it was interesting to note that it is segregated into male and female. I always thought only those of the Jewish faith could approach and touch the Wall, but no more - anyone can now touch the wall. Heavily guarded by incognito security - you knew who they were as they kept surveying the mass of people. I was also surprised by the size of the wall, always imagining it as being this small area. Profoundly moving - go touch the wall.

I found this site to be something else as people of all races, gender etc were there and a lot participated in writing the necessary notes and to stick it into the wall.

Simply impressive to see such an important religious landmark up close. It is important to be well schooled and to learn about different practices.

I find this site to be most interesting on Friday night when it is visited by many culturally different Jewish people. It may be most crowded at that time. It is important to be respectful at that time. Sleeveless tops should not be worn at any time should you want to approach the wall, although shawls are usually provided. You will have to go through security to get to this area.

Educated guess - Ask the hotel that you are staying at for recommendations - e-mail them in advance , OR there is a ministry of tourism office 20 meters inside from the Jaffa gate ( of the old city ) , where you can ask in person for details etc

Good Morning!
Thank you guys for the previous input regarding my trip in January to Israel-Jordan and Egypt.
I was wondering if anyone can indicate a tour from Jerusalem to Bethlehem all day tour that it’s not a rush kind the tour and also a all day tour to the Red Sea and Masada, all the tours that I’ve been checking seems a little on the rush side .
Thank you again .
