This remarkable museum holds c.30 locomotives and some other steam memorabilia from 1850s to 1950s. Well presented locos. Do take a copy of the on line musuem guide with you - it may not be available on the day. What a challenge to maintain this...More

Steam museum has many interesting exhibits including a Robert Stephenson locomotive. Restaurant inside but we ate opposite in nice local cafe.
