The cable car going up to the Pierre Lotti restaurant was a great experience as it provided a view of Istanbul including the Golden Horn. The views from the restaurant were beautiful and even better because it was a sunny day.

Excellent landscape. You can enjoy your nice Turkish coffee with the tranquiling scenery of Golden Horn. Because of the French writer Pierre Loti who had came here frequently in times of Ottoman Empire, this place is known by his name.

For public transport Istanbulkart is the way to go. You can use the same card to catch a cable car ride. Make sure you have enough money on it as cable car ride is more expensive.
