This enormous palace was the Imperial residence of Ottoman sultans for almost 400 years. Although much of the palace is not accessible, the daily tours of the Harem are of great interest to tourists.

Splendid Aechitecture
A great palace. It takes time to complete walk around in it as it is founded on a huge area. The most beautiful part to me is where you can see Bosphorus. You need to pay for the entrance but if you have a Museum Card you can use it to enter.

Amazing Ottoman History in 2 hours

Most Impressive Place in Istanbul
TP is, IMHO, the main Istanbul attraction. It is a rather large place to see and appreciate, which is not limited to the palace complex itself and includes several gardens nearby. You might want to consider visiting TP a few times (as we had done) to better appreciate it. Harem…
