I had a chance to see the performance of “Il travatore” by Verdi. It was very impressive, and the entrance cost only $5. The decoration of the building, ceiling, as well as its illumination are very beautiful. It is absolutely worth visiting.

Although I did not have time to look inside, I walked around the building and enjoyed the fountain and people watching in the park. Best time to go is in the afternoon when the sun is going down.

We were in Tashkent for 2 nights. At the opera house they had a different performance nearly every day! We bought tickets for Aida, 3 USD each! Interesting experience. It was a Friday night and the hall was full.

I did not purchase my ticket in advance. I looked at the performance list outside the Opera House and purchased my ticket on the day of the performance.
