As I visited during low season, there were many people out and about. Nor was there much vegetation to be seen. Clearly I need to come back at another time.

That was hot. Not many trees, but still pleasant. Located almost in the city center and that was easy to navigate.

A great place for peace and quiet and I really liked the water features, they made what could be a boring spot into a special place

Just a nice walk but not much to see. This place attracts lots of weddings and you will see a few when you visit.

Unfortunately, some of the parts are closed during our visit so we cannot comment much on this place. Good to drop by though as it can be accessed directly via metro.

The Independence Square in Tashkent is huge but not your usual Soviet-style square although you can still get a sense of its past here. Nice walking paths and well tended gardens, worth spending some time here even just to check out the local scenery.
