The zoo is small, compact and well organized in terms of sections and numbering. It is easy to follow and to see all animals up there. However, the zoo needs more work to accommodate visitors with continues extra care, cleaning of rest areas and passages....More

It is located in the City Colombo. It is a good option for picnic spot for locals. Beautifully landscaped 30 acres in which a rich collection of mammals, birds, reptiles and fishes live in harmony with Nature.

Really enjoyed seeing birds, animals etc. Improved better than 2017 visit. Improved in giving some freedom to few birds and animals by making big and height nets with realistic nature - appreciable.

Lovely day out, all the animals were kept in superb conditions and well fed. Small zoo but doesn’t feel small when walking around it. Excellent water park to cool off whilst eating ice cream after a busy day.

Most people seem to like the zoo due to the amount of animals you are able to see but this just means that the enclosures incredibly small. The birds don’t have space to fly, monkeys in small cages, the bears have a SHOCKING amount of...More
