Galle Face Green is the best place to enjoy you evening in Colombo. You can fly kites, eat street food and watch sunset. The huge open ground is filled with people every evening. A must visit place in Colombo city

Galle face Green is a leisure place at hart of Colombo city in Sri Lanka, you can walk with sea breeze and can enjoy having some street food as well, more crowned in weekends.

Don’t take pictures or pay to interact with monkeys. Saw a guy where you turn at the south end of the path mistreating the monkey - so much that the monkey was making loud noises :( Sadly no one who was around seemed to care....More

It was windy. So the kites were out in force which is delightful. Watch out for the hawkers and those who simply want to pinch your money. Otherwise worth the walk to take in the Sri Lankan’s relaxing.

People do visit daily and its not closed at any time of the day. It tends to be more crowded during the evening to see the sunset. Finding parking maybe an issue.
