Instead of boring Temples, try this decent sauna! It’s very interesting activity, definitely worth the experience.
The counter staff is really friendly, speak understandable English. For 25k kips, we were given sarong, cup and locker space.
We tried the coffee and yoghurt scrub, there is a lot of different combinations for you to try!

I had been going to this herbal sauna for many years and it did not disappoint me. The only thing is sometimes they do not follow their opening hours so it is best to go around 2pm or 2:30 to be safe. Also they do not inform the public if they are closed on public holidays. Given that it is advertised in many websites they should inform if they are closed. Above all it is the best one in Vientiane that i know of. Cleaner than the others.

Nice place to relax for a couple of hours. Cheap and well run and good opportunity to mix with the locals. Did the 1h massage then self scrub and sauna. It only opens at 1pm and is a nice way to spend the afternoon. Tea is good too.
The only thing I didn’t really like is that the twist your neck quite hard during the massage, always a bit risky unless they really know what they are doing

My husband ventured here and I really wish I'd had the courage to join him. He was cupped and beside looking as though an octopus had attacked him he really enjoyed the experience. Read the reviews here to give you tips on what to do and what to do. He was shouted at for washing his hands in the wrong water. Overall he absolutely loved it.

I visited this beautiful spa in the afternoon for a Chinese massage which involved the cups on the back. The massage was very relaxing and consisted of back muscle massage and 10 cups applied to the back four times over the course of an hour.
Two beautiful friendly dogs Kevin’s you to this small spa so make sure you give them a pat!
100,000 kip for one hour.

Fun to try. The steam sauna is nice. I wish they had staff to do the body scrub instead of doing it yourself. They only have one option for massage. Chinese style with cupping. The massage is good, he knows what he's doing. But he is a little to confident that everything can be fixed with tigerbalm and massage. Good, but not really relaxing since he is "fixing" you. I wish they had more choices for massage.

I only knew about this through other TripAdvisor reviews and would never have found it or gone if not for these reviews. However they didn’t really explain the procedure, so maybe this will help others. First, the location is out of the way, follow the signs people have in other reviews. Second, they don’t speak English so come prepared to follow what other people are doing and use small bills. Once you go in, pay the 20,000 fee clearly posted and then should point to the scrub you want. I tried coffee which is literally ground up coffee beans and literally a cup of yogurt you would find at a grocery store. They give you a bowl to mix those together, a tea cup that is for drinking tea, a garment with elastic to wear and a locker key. When you go inside there is a large co-Ed courtyard with men and women hanging around in their garments drinking tea or rinsing off with buckets of water. First thing is to go to the male or female locker room and change into your garment and out your things in the locker. Then go into the co-Ed sauna and sit for a bit. Then come out to the open area and mix up your scrub and yogurt in the bowl and rub it all over your body. Then go back into the sauna, return to the common area and rinse off with the cold buckets of water out in the open area. Just dump it over your head until you get it all off. There is also a shower head in the male dressing room and private rooms in the women’s if you prefer. Repeat this as many times as you like and sit drinking tea in between. Follow everyone else and follow the custom. Don’t try to do your own thing. People seem generally friendly to help if you’re respectful. I also did a cupping massage for 100,000 which was ok but not as good as the scrub.

Friendly people, nice place! 20.000 (2,5 usd) for sauna, 100.000 (~12,5 usd) for the massage. Only options "Chinese style" and "cupping massage" (with the glasses using vacuum to improve blood flow etc.). I chose cupping and my girl chinese style - in the end they gave her a cupping massage too after asking her and we both were really happy afterwards. The guy was a 68years old ex-Kung-Fu teacher - he recognized that I did martial arts and from that perspective I can tell that he knew his stuff: Very strong hands and knowing exactly what he did and what spots at the body he had to focus at. A real 10/10. The sauna was splendid too!

Based on the reviews on Trip Advisor I visited this placed to enquire about the oil massage however the only option available was a Chinese style massage. They did have options for getting a sauna individually but I was completely let down with the options they offered.

We came here looking for oil massage. Unfortunately they only offered Chinese + cupping but we tried it nonetheless. It was a first but the Lao man whom massages us was really skilled and he really knew what he was doing. We would go back for sure for another one but our plane leaves tomorrow. Definately a must go! Rooms are clean and fan cooled. No aircons here but I prefer it this way.
