I saw this 3 times, in a polluted sky and also during the blue hour. The photos taken during the blue hour came out GREAT. The other lights in the park came on at sunset, and it was picture perfect.

I am pleased to see those who visit this monument show respect for this past leader. They DO NOT just dump their garbage on or around this monument. I wish they would respect all other areas of Cambodia.

The statue is located on the nicest boulevard in Phnom Penh (actually with nice sidewalks - a rare exception in Phnom Penh). A very nice statue worth a short visit

King Sihanouk Statue stand in the middle of a very beautiful and colorful park, very close to the riverside. Many visitors and locals come to the park especially in the weekends.

The people I encountered had a huge amount of respect and love for their king. The statue is in nice park, well done. Still just a statue, but given the esteem the Cambodians give their king I think one should visit out of respect.

What to tell about the statue of King Father Sihanouk? Well, you sure can't miss this one. If you come to Phnom penh there is a small chance you won't see it. It's a big, impressive monument.

Its located right behind the "independence monument", and facing a vast garden and walk way. A perfect place to visit for evening walks.
