The silver pagoda is in the Royal Palace complex. It's made of marble and stone and has a flooring of silver tiles. There is a pretty little garden in front and a woodland trail to the rear.

Good for the King only. Not good for his People
Oct 2019
Average, Combodians are poor. However, This country has many Royal heritages which belong to the King. If the King shares all Silver in this Pagoda for his people, he will be great

Lots of Silver
Dec 2019
The Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal palace. It is the home of the emerald-crystal Buddha. Make sure you check out the floor, which is covered with 5 tonnes of silver. You can not take pictures inside and must remove your footwear before entering. Your back, shoulders and knees must be covered to enter.
There is other much more impressive pagodas around SE Asia to see but still a great place to visit if you have the time.

The Silver Pagoda
Dec 2019
It is a really beautiful temple. The floor is made of silver. There is blankets over most of it, which is a shame.

The floor is made of more than 5,000 SOLID SILVER tiles! I wonder what they would be worth??? It's also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Another Palace
Feb 2020
As the Silver Palgodawas close by the Royal Palace, we decided to visit it. The highlight of our visit was the miniature version on the temple, Angkor Wat. Once again, good photos were taken of the Silver Pagoda.

Silver Pagoda
Feb 2020
We visited as part of the Palace tour. Building looks more impressive outside than inside. Much is made of the silver floor, most of which is covered. Nice model of the Angkor Wat Temple in the grounds.

Visited as part of Palace visit
Feb 2020
It is a beautiful building plus the added interest of the buddha statue and other exhibits inside the Pagoda. Does not take long to visit. We visited the palace and the Pagoda in around an hour.

Disappointing
Feb 2020
Overall I found the pagoda and the palace disappointing. You cannot see much of the silver floor inside the pagoda, although there are lots of other objects inside the pagoda. There are no descriptions here to tell you what things are so without a guide (which is an extra $10) you don't get a huge amount out of the visit.
