Bad experience-20th century type service.
Long & disorganized waiting lines. We left after an hour wait not taking the ride at all.
Car leaving every 30min even though the ride takes less than 5min (& 20 min operator's smoking break)
The operator of the funicular spends most of his time smoking. The funicular only operates every hour as it syncronises with a tram coming in the other direction. It costs 1 Manat per person.
The operator is grumpy and lazy and often leaves people behind...More
A perfect alternative to climbing numerous ladders to the observation deck of the city. This completely modern facility is one of the notable sights of Baku. It operates from 10 to 22 hours, Monday is a day off, walks with an interval of 10-20 minutes.

Be warned, closed Monday and final train often before advertised closing time with...More

For 1 whole Manat (each way) its worth every 82p for a return fare
A modern clean and smooth ride to the Flame 🔥 Towers and the equally impressive views back down to the City.
There isn’t much to do at the top. There is...More
For 1 manat each way, the furnicular is worth the amount. The view from the top is amazing. Not too sure about the frequency but mine started in 10 minutes and I took the stairs on the way back. But recommend it for an experience.
Baku Funicular is a great place to visit and use.
But when we approached to the lower station there was a bunch of people. A group was waiting, but there is NO INFO about departure time, frequency and cost of travel.
So at the entrance...More
