Try much as I do, I cannot find anything particularily attractive about Northern Avenue. It is way to broad for a walking street, offers no shade in the summer (the bonzai-connifer tree stand-ins hardly cast any), nor shelter in the winter, and fairly few spots...More

This street or avenue could remind someone a New York, because of the buildings styles. Though they are not that tall, actually they are not high at all, as the whole capital is - it mostly consists out of old small buildings.

There is nothing better to have the freedom to shop and enjoy a pedestrianised street, without having to look out for vehicles. Be sure to visit the under ground shopping mall of, Tashir Street Shopping Gallery.

Pedestrianised street lined with shops and bars that links Opera and Republic Squares. Good place to sit and peopke watch at one of the cafes and take a break. Really busy vibe.

this place is packed with shops on street level and below. There are many cafes and art abounds here. Wonderful place to meet people and have an espresso or cappuccino.

The only pedestrian street in Yerevan is nothing special, it connects Opera House to the Republic Square, lined with usual array of shops and malls and boutiques.

The street is amazing at night, a hub of activity with plenty to do and see including many outdoor/indoor cafe's. Plenty of buskers worth seeing at night also.

This wasn't my cup of tea, but if you like to shop at high-end, brand-name stores, this is the place to go. Some hotels here, too, in case you'd like to stay in this area. It's near the opera house square, where there are lots...More

It is a fun place for eating, shopping and just walking around. It is full of shops and even an underground mall. In the evenings there are many street performers that make the experience unforgettable.
