I loved Hanoi--the food, the culture, the architecture, the chaos--so I was really surprised that a water puppet show was one of the city's highlights for me. It's just fun, entertaining, unique, and adorable. Check it out!

We had a wonderful time , we chose front row seats and the kids (12,9,6) were completely fascinated!! It was lovely to hear the traditional Vietnamese instruments and a fabulous show! Definitely don’t skip this if you have kids !

We liked the presentation in general. Something different which we had not seen before. The story lines are kept simplistic. If you have not seen this before, it is worth it.

When in Hanoi, it’s great to see this spectacular. Its very original to the area. Entrance was included on out tour of the city with Ethnic Travel, but the box office price is very reasonable. The show is very well produced and the musicians are...More

The Thang Long water puppet show is one of the highlights of Hanoi, for all ages. The shows always run full so advisable to book tickets in advance to get the middle row seats. There are three ticket rates, front three rows commanding the highest...More

The show is nice, especially if one thinks about the "logistics" that the players in the back have to do that this works out very well. There is live music and some kind of vietnamese narration, but the pictures speak for itself. The seating is...More

The puppet show was nothing spectacular. There were 4 stories acted out by the puppets. All the voice acting was in an annoyingly high pitched voice. There were no subtitles but it's fairly easy to follow along. I don't regret the time I spent at...More

It's an experience you'll look back and laugh about for years to come. And just for that it was worth the hour long, "What's going on!?" Be prepared for a few uncomfortable scenes that you may need to explain to your younger kids! It's completely...More

No idea. But you can ask. Tickets were 100, 150 or 200k dong...the closer to the stage the more expensive . 200k is£7 so knock yourself out for the best seats in the house.
