With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Lovely spa experience. We got a welcome drink and refresher towel. I went for the jet lag package which includes a full body massage and an extra foot massage. The woman really worked my knots out (it was borderline painful- but you can say what pressure you want). I walked away feeling looser and more relaxed. Would definitely go back if I was in Bangkok.

Wonderful massage experience in the heart of Bangkok! My companion and I can only recommend this beautiful massage parlor. The interior is modern and conveys a homey feeling right from the beginning. We both had the Aromatherapy Massage & Herbal Press treatment for 120 min and it was really great. Will definitely come again!

It was just perfect here - i found this little gem because i searched for a nice afternoon in a really relaxing, clean and calming Spa not a rush-in-and-out one like there are so many in Bangkok.
It was also important to me that the 'spa feeling' is here and to be treated as a special guest, but still not too expensive!
Marco, the owner, welcomed me and gave me a few tipps how to choose the right treatments for me and how to save some money - (it ended up way cheaper than i expected!)
The massage (i had a 2h thai massage) was just perfect - the older lady seemed to have a lot of experience, she was even able to say that i must be carrying a backpack, because of my hard spots in the back... At the end she also gave me a few tipps how to relieve the pain in the neck myself, i tried and she corrected me a few times until i did it right. I thought that was really nice!
Oh, and on the way to the spa, i burnt my foot at the motorcycle, so she gave me some aloe vera cream for cooling it and when i left an plaster so it wouldn't get dirty on the streets - so nice.
As the second treatment i had a facial - very nice, luxurious scrub, mask, cream,...
Afterwards i got a yummy tea.
The (single) rooms are very nice, clean and quiet.
I will be definitely coming again and if you are thinking about going - do it! I'm sure you will like it, whether going alone, als a family, with your special other...

Went there with high expectations after reading the ALL excellent reviews. It is a fair distance from the prompong BTS station situated next to Four Wings hotel. When we arrived, we were told that they only accept cash as the boss is not present.
We booked the 2 hour aromatherapy massage. Usually when you enter the treatment room of a spa, you already start to relax with the scented candles and the soft spa music. There was none of that here. It was only during the last half hour of our massage did the spa music suddenly blasted through. Must have coincided with the owner arriving. So the preceding hour and a half was spent listening to the constant noise of traffic from the road outside and the occassional conversation between the therapists and the telephone ringing away at the reception desk. Hardly soothing nor relaxing. In the shower stall, the soap dispenser was totally empty and no one had bothered to check or refill it, so we ended up washing ourselves with the pink shampoo. The girls were good at what they did, but unfortunately the other negative aspects of this place means I cannot agree with the other reviewers and give it an excellent review. The owner had arrived by the time we finished and he informed us that it was perfectly alright to pay by credit card.
I guess my expectations are a little high as this is the first time I have ever ventured out of the hotel spa environment. So perhaps if you are planning to go to this spa, it is advisable to check if the Italian owner is going to be present before you visit.

Dear value customer,
I was quite disappointed to learn that we did not live up to your massage and service expectations. We pride ourselves on always giving our customers the very best we can offer both in terms of massage and service (candle, music and of course soap in the shower missed are unacceptable), This is the reason for our success and longevity. The problem of that morning come up because I was in immigration office to stamp my visa and the therapist in duty to check the spa before the customers check in was unable to arrive due the bomb attack made the previous night in Bangkok.
I’m so sorry but you were unlucky to come in the only morning that we was in trouble.
You can be sure that i will address your concerns and feedback with all my staff in order to maintain the standard that we are known for at Baan Sabai Spa.
Your feedback is a valuable part of our business and we really do appreciate your honesty.

After taking a tumble on one of Bangkok's infamous stairs during a rain storm, I visited two places the hospital and Baan Sabai...though the hospital was necessary I believe it was the hands of my massage therapist ( I am sorry that I have forgotten her name) and the wisdom of the spa owner, Marco that helped the mending process. I received three types of massage (Thai, hot oil, and medicine ball,) they all provided the desired effect. I strongly recommend this spa to all!

1600baht for 2 hours of aroma oil massage (90mins) + body scrub (30 mins). Stylish design room but little bit old on the bath tub. They serve sweet mango before and after massage. I asked the customer how much they pay for tips, they suggest to give 100baht if they do it good. Can try but I won't come after try Lavana Bangkok. Because I focus on massage skill more than the decoration atmosphere.

My wife & I landed up without a booking on a busy Sunday afternoon. Marco welcomed us with tea, but also expressed his inability to accommodate us as all the rooms were fully booked. Since we had walked a fair bit to reach the Spa, we asked if we could wait in the hope that some of the guests would not show up so we could get the massages. Marco was fine with this, so we chatted with him while he managed the guests, his therapists and phone calls.
As luck would have it, two guests did not turn up, so we were able to get our therapies done. We chose the 90-minutes Deep Tissue Massages.
The therapy rooms very clean, though there was some noise coming from outside. The therapists were professional and polite. I slept through most of my massage, which is always a good sign (at least for me) because it shows I was relaxed during the treatment.
Later, Marco spoke with me (since he had left the Spa) and enquired about our experience. I thought that was rather nice of him.
To summarise, I highly recommend Bann Sabai Spa and hope to visit again the next time I'm in Bangkok. Of course, I will make a reservation this time as I cannot hope to be lucky twice.

I went there for a 2-hour massage. The massage was ok but the masseur was too strong even I gave her multiple reminders. The room is designed for one person only so it's very small. The air con was facing right to the massage bed, so I was freezing cold during my massage. We started at 7:30pm but finished at 9:10pm. It's fine as I don't want to stay any longer. I went there because of the rating on TA but I guess The spa was overrated.

I was disappointed to learn that your recent visit to Baan Sabai Spa did not live up to your expectations. It is well known that Baan Sabai Spa provide top quality product and service with reasonable price.
Regarding the massage: our Therapists can moderate the press point techniques and adjust to each individual customer (we are training hard to guaranty this service) as the customers request and if in case the customers are not satisfy about the masseuse service he/she can even change with other one.
Regarding the room: the concept of Baan Sabai Spa is give to every customers privacy and relaxation. For this reason we have couple room, single room and only 1 big room with 5 beds (that usually we use for family group).
In the single room the air condition is on the left side of the bed and because we don’t want that air go direct to the face of our customer.
The temperature of the room is blooked at 25 degree C. and anyway the remote control is there, in front the door, every customers can regulate the temperature as like and some of them prefer even switch off it.
Regarding the duration of massage: it’s difficult to believe that my therapist did less then 2 hours course because we have a time system control. After the massage each therapists have to block the time in our computer where her face will be scanned. With this system for me is easy to check if the therapist worked less or more then she have to. I checked in my computer and honestly we do not have any record about that.
I’m really sorry for your disappoint and I really need to understand more about it. Could you please write me the day and the time that you get massage?
We record every massage with the name of therapist,so I could understand more about this misunderstanding,specialy investigate if one of my therapist are providing a different standard Baan Sabai Spa service,and believe me she will be removed from the job.

I am not used to give an "excellent" rating, but here I could not do differently !
To say that I enjoyed the session booked at the Baan Sabai is to say little about the fantastic hours spent with a wonderful masseuse who managed to put me back into shape, touching muscles I did not even know I had and giving me the opportunity also to be alone with my own thoughts in a very relaxing environment. I booked a body scrub, a facial and a massage, all were wonderful and regenerating. The room was quiet, the oils and essences of quality, but above all the, at time steely fingers, at time the soft touches, of the masseuse, made me forget the outside world and transported me on my own cloud were I had time to be with myself. A wonderful experience that I would certainly repeat when in Bangkok and would recommend undeservedly.

My husband and I tried Baan Sabai Spa and had a 90 minute Thai massage. We walked in without an appointment and the owner, Marco was kind enough to take us in and give us a large room where we were together. It was a very relaxing experience. The ambience of the spa is very calming. At the end of our wonderful experience, we were offered some mango and warm tea.
Marco, the owner also offered some restaurant recommendations and due to the pouring rain, was kind enough to drive my husband and I to Sornthong Seafood Restaurant (look for my review).
It was a great evening where nothing mattered but just you and the masseuse.

Regarding your question we have to know how many months is your pregnancy.
We have a special massage for pregnant woman but it's rio recommend to stimulate your blood circulation after 4 months of your pregnancy,
Btw,in that time, we don't recommend any treatments with "press point" stimulation as thai massage,thai oil massage and foot massage but " energy flow" technich as oil,aroma are more appropriated.
