What to do on your trip to Bangkok? If you’re like me, you’re looking for unique experiences, and getting a bespoke suit from a top-notch Bangkok tailor can be a great one. I did quite a bit of research and made a short list of shops to visit. Woolrich jumped to the top of my list on the strength of the wonderful people who made my time with them a true joy.
When I initially visited on a Sunday, I met with Ram who listened to my ideas with an easy enthusiasm, and I knew I’d found the experience I was hoping for.
I came in with a idea board on my iPad where I’d envisioned a three piece suit in a beautiful 100% wool with silk lining, along with an alternate vest to wear with the jacket with jeans for a dressy casual look. I’d collected a lot of ideas I loved, and Ram assured me they could absolutely make my vision a reality (plus four shirts!), all before I returned to NYC just nine days later.
Ram helped me find the perfect fabrics, took all my measurements, and shepherded me through the process with kindness, generosity and enthusiasm.
After just having my measurements taken, I found myself the next day recommending Woolrich to three friends, who all went to Woolrich and loved their clothes and the spectacular service.
On Monday as I toured Ayutthaya, Ram texted and called on WhatsApp me to say the fabric for my alt vest wasn’t available, but he’d found a wonderful substitute. The communication was clear, detailed and on point to keep my order on track and my vision intact.
Tuesday was my first fitting and I met the owner, Jack, who is clearly devoted to providing his customers with a great experience and beautiful clothes. If you’ve never had a bespoke garment crafted for you, you’re in for a treat at your fitting here—Ram and Jack made me feel like a king! Truly, to this off-the-rack guy who frankly hates shopping for clothes, it felt simply decadent. And the substitute fabric Ram found for my alt vest was an even BETTER fit for what I’d dreamed up! More proof these guys really listen and really care.
After the fitting, I spontaneously decided to order a second jacket in a wool/linen blend I’d seen on my first visit. After all, who knows when I would ever be back there in person, so carpe that diem! So we made plans for Friday for my second suit fitting and the first fitting for the alt vest and the new jacket.
Friday’s fitting brought minor final adjustments to the suit pants and alt vest, but the new jacket was stunning and perfect (having already had the benefit of the final adjustments from the suit jacket). On Sunday I gleefully picked everything up… AND ordered a second pair of slacks in a beautiful wool with a touch of stretch—I know, I know… if you’re counting you know my time is up, but my hubs was staying for work so he could bring them home. I brought him in the next day to get his measurements taken!
In fact, besides my husband and my first three referrals, we kept recommending Woolrich and all told we sent ten+ very happy customers their way! Each time I was in the shop, there were repeat customers there for fittings. It’s definitely the kind of a place that inspires you to come back again and again! Their amazing staff always offered cold water and made me comfortable even when they were quite busy. Then there was the bonus of just talking with Jack and Ram over so many visits which revealed wonderful new friendships!
But hey, it’s not over. After wearing my clothes back in NYC, I regretted not getting more shirts. So I contacted them, Ram sent pictures of fabrics and I ordered three more shirts which they delivered to my hubs’ hotel before he returned home. Just more of their spectacular Woolrich service.
I love everything they made for me and get complements whenever I wear my Woolrich pieces, so a special shout out to the skilled artisans who craft their clothes. Their workmanship is stunning!
Look, this is a five-star review on every level. If you’re looking for an amazing experience, amazing quality bespoke tailoring, spectacular service AND genuinely nice people, then Woolrich is the place to go!

Very professional. No hard sell and true to label. Khun Raj was clear with material composition, quality, pricing and deliverable timelines. Highly recommend and will buy again especially in a market where you sometimes not sure what you will get etc. Very reliable operator. Thanks again for shirts.

I have today collected 6 shirts, 1 pair chino, 3 piece suit. This will be my 25th purchase from here. Extremely fast turnaround, from initial measure to collection. Ram super efficient as always. Lovely, friendly atmosphere and 100% professional service. Cannot recommend more highly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The customer service and tailoring quality is incredible. My husband and I made appointments to select fabrics & get measured. The attention to detail in the tailoring is amazing. I live in Washington DC and needed fairly conservative suits. Mr. Raj was happy to spend a lot of time talking about different fabrics, wool quality, and details of the suits. I ordered two women's suits (blazer, pants, and skirt). Mr. Raj helped every step of the way & even brought the suits to our hotel for the final fitting.

I made contact with Jack after being recommended by a friend who visited his shop. I placed an order over Watsapp where Jack and his team guided me through the measurement process.
Selected the fabric and then waited for delivery.
The suit and shirts arrived today and WOW!!!! Expert tailoring and fits perfectly. The fabric is out of this world.
I’ve had many suits made in England and this is the best suit I’ve had by far! Jack is my new go to tailor! Highly recommended

I have dealt with Woolrich and stitched 3 suites & 4 shirts, can’t explain enough how amazing the job was, but most importantly are the team specially Ram RAJ, he welcomed me very well, spend with me long time selecting the Fabrice and designs, he was passionate about my request and made sure it came out perfectly.
Prices are very good as well as quality of work,
Till now, I can’t believe they made me 3 suits &4 shirts in 4 days only.
Thank you Raj and the entire team, will see you again soon and recommend you to everyone I know

By far the best Tailor in Bangkok. I’ve been to other famous ones, but none compare. Jack and his cousin are top notch. We even order from US and get delivery. Best in its class

good job altering leather jackets, makes old ones look like new designer fits, had some old jackets that didn't fit well but he made it look great

Passing through Bangkok a few years ago for a business trip, I went to the shop. I have custom made suits and shirts. Because I don’t have the opportunity to go back to the shop, I ordered additional shirts online. always impeccable work and above all an impressive professionalism. I highly recommend this tailor who is certainly the best I have met

We were in Bangkok for 6 days. After visiting 2 other Tailor shops that were highly regarded on TripAdvisor, we visited Woolrich. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. Friendly smiles greeted us, and the stores shelves were packed full of such a large selection and range of fabrics.
The Team were professional. They weren’t pushy unlike the other stores. When asking about prices, things were transparent, and their prices were competitive.
After viewing fabrics for about 60mins, we then took our fittings. We returned back daily for fittings, and 4 days later, our garments were finished. We had a total of 6 suits made.
In each of our interactions the Team were excellent. Great service, great suits, and an enjoyable experience.
Well done to the Team. Jack, thanks for your level of care and desire to ensure we were satisfied.
Our suits, trousers, shorts, and jackets are outstanding. We have had suits tailored all over the world, and hands down Woolrich have been the best. Excellent quality fabrics, and the best craftsmanship.
I noticed customers were both local and international, like us.
We look forward to returning or purchasing again.

I think it might be okay, but bear in mind that you will need to go back for a fitting, probably the day before you finally pick up the suits. To check, I wold suggest you phone Mr Jack on +66 8 23273591.
