I was really surprised when I came back to this place ( every year I come here for a few hours) Before it was so full and loud, so busy and now it was quite, no screaming music, many of the marketstalls were disapeared. I...More

Touristic trap with some charm in the small alleys. A Guy we met became robbed and drugged. Good food and expensive

Khao San is good to visit for bars showing football and live music and for good Happy Hours on the alcohol! Good atmosphere, I would say more suited to the younger generation and backpackers. It wasn’t too busy when we visited however, and there were...More

If you are going to visit be sure to go in the evening as it’s practically a ghost town until 3pm. Overall I felt safe visiting, you just have to be careful with valuables.... some great bars and an electric vibe

A stroll here is an absolute must. Its also the perfect place for a meal or a beer. The only let down is the 'tailors' trying to constantly peddle their wares whilst drenched in cologne.

This place is definitely for tourists. Full of shops, bars, Thai massage and others. If you go to Bangkok it's a must. You will love it. 😊

Overpriced basic local street in a overpriced city in a overpriced country with over dirty beaches that used to be paradise. I've been hearing about tourists going to Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar more and more. Have you wondered why Thai people?

Totally see the attraction for young people. There's plenty of bars and music, and there doesn't seem to be anything you can't buy. We enjoyed the experience if walking up and down the road and had a couple of drinks in the Irish bar, but...More

I'd speak to your hotel and see if they provide a secure bag drop point. Many do. Otherwise as it is only for 1 hour keep it close to you or purchase some handcuffs and lock it to your wrist.

Whilst the Thai’s don’t generally celebrate Xmas, they will still help the tourists celebrate and Khao San Road is no different
