We headed here to rest a bit and get some energy before heading back from Chatuchak Market. It was a nice park with plenty of wildlife so be careful if you have any food!

I decided to visit Chatuchak Park on my way to the market and was pleased by how pretty and uncrowded it was, even for a Saturday. There's a lovely pond and nice level wide walkways. Plenty of birds and small animals, and large trees for...More

So I went here before I headed to Chatuchak Weekend Market and I kinda like this park. It's big and has trees that give you shadows and breeze. It's relaxing to sit under a tree and just you know, lay there to kill time.

This is a rather large, sprawling city park that is popular with locals. There are several ponds/lakes, bridges and nice asphalt walking pathways throughout the park. There is a small weight training area as well. With plenty of well manicured lawn areas, many people were...More

Nice park in a suburb of Bangkok. A great place to chill if you’re coming or going to the weekend market.

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for

I have no idea. I didn't see any kids do this, neither I did notice any signs that ban roller blades... So I guess it's possible, only not popular there.
