Been many years since I last visited Chatuchak Weekend market. So many shops and things to see. I came across a nice lovely furniture shop in Chatuchak plaza zone B. (WOW, I didnt know that this zone actually opened every day). The shop is full...More

An interesting place a frightening lack of proper toilet facilities and a total lack of hygiene. AND of course, unbearably hoy a centre for low grade clothing and too much gilt.

This market is really huge - so big that it seems overwhelming. But there are some hidden gems. My favorite part of the market is easy to miss. Get off at Kamphaeng Phet MRT Station, take exit 2, and when you get to the top...More

Nearly 10,000 stalls at this busy weekend market. Amazing range of products and great prices. Grab a cold beer and have a massage before you leave. Clean toilets, friendly stallholders too. It's very busy, so maybe get there as early as you can to beat...More

If you are to do only one thing in Bangkok then make sure it's visiting the Chatuchak Weekend market. Nowhere else will your senses be assaulted as much as they will be here. The sounds, the smells, the heat, the crowds the absolutely useless and...More

Tons of stores selling anything and everything. Make sure to haggle the prices and you can get good deals. There is usually a map at the entrance which you can take to know which section to go to as they are arranged in clusters

Nothing special you could not find elsewhere. Its good for first time travellers. Nice street food if your stomach can afford it.

I believe this is the biggest open air market in the world. It’s huge. I didn’t buy much but I think it’s an experience in itself just to go.

Lots of stalls and interesting place but can get s little repetitive. Personally prefer the wider choice and AC of MBK Centre. This weekend market at Chatuchak can get very busy too. If you have time do it, but if time for one shopping trip...More

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for

The place closes but the vendors move their goods out on the streets so there are still some goods for sale after 6pm.
