About
The Longshan Temple Underground Shopping Bazaar is located below Mengjia Park between Guangzhou Street, Xiyuan Road, Heping West Road and Sanshui Street. This is Taipei's first two-level underground mall. In addition to the four surface level entrances, there are also two underground entrances and an entrance linked to Longshan Temple MRT Station. The station entrance is the most convenient way to access the mall. There are 48 shops here selling general merchandise, cosmetics, light meals, and even fortune-telling items.

Nothing to shout about. Many shops are closed down and it's just a small shopping area with a few shops operating. Not worth to do a purposeful trip there.

The Longshan Temple Underground Shopping Bazaar sells lots of religious paraphernalia that makes great souvenirs. There is lots to choose from; you can also have your fortune told. The Underground Shopping Bazaar is underground, adjacent to the Longshan Temple, Taipei's largest Taoist temple. Buy the way, "Longshan" means "Dragon Mountain."

The Underground Bazaar is a shock to the senses; it is very untidy and the fortune tellers can appear to be strange. Many local people come here to heve their fortunes told; fortune tellers can help fix dates for weddings, business decisions and other important events . It's also a good place for souvenirs. The Bazaar is just over the road from the Longshan Temple. By the way, the area is said to be lucky -- "Lungshan" means "Dragon Mountain."

There is not much to see in the Underground Market, unless you like religious souvenirs. It's near the Longshan MRT Station.

It is just a normal shopping place. Located near to the Longshan Temple MRT Station. You will find good variety of of souvenirs, specially Buddhist items. There were few clothing stores also. Based on bargain you can get items for cheaper prices.

This is conveniently located at the Longshan temple station however the goods cater more for local so there is nothing much for browsing tourists. Spend 5 mins here.

We walked around inside Longshan Temple Underground Shopping Bazaar on Saturday 30/03/19 after we visited the local Longshan Temple.
Inside the Bazaar area there isn't really much to look at with very out-dated stalls. Many cheap souvenirs for tourists especially if you're into Buddhist items, cheaper postcards & also sell postage stamps.
During our first visit we came across a very friendly Cat belonging to one of the shop keepers.
Later my friend decided on a massage for 30 mins, the Massage was excellent & good value & cost TWD $700.00 inside the Bazaar Area.

No shops here, no people here.
Very lonely place.
No customer.
Not new not old, awkward place.
Not worth to come.
沒有商店、沒有人煙。
非常淒涼的地方。
沒有客人。
既不新也不舊,是個尷尬的存在。
完全不值得造訪的詭異地方。

In this bazaar, I have found several good Buddhist statues and most of the Buddhist bracelets I have ever bought. There are many other Buddhist items. It's especially for Buddhists. If you aren't Buddhist, as many reviewers here, you will think this Bazaar is empty - that makes sense. When the string of my bracelets is worn out or broken, I go there to fix them. It's cheap, only 50NT per bracelet. For the other items, like the statues, it's cheap as well, but you need to bargain. It's definitely cheaper than in the Long Shan temple shop (where bargaining is not possible).

Since we were visiting three night markets nearby and the guide books mentioned this place, we dropped by. Easily accessible by MRT, through the underground connections, we are here. Its not fancy, its not brightly lit, some stores are closed, and yes, there are some shopping that could be done here...............
Majority of the stores are selling old inventory, or goods that look older styled. Great for aging parents or retirees customers. There are a few clothing stores, crafts, shoes and eateries here. The pricing is decent, but the variety of goods to do appeal to me. However, because the price was better than Canada, I bought a few belts here too.
There are a lot of fortune tellers here, one or two foot/body massage place that can also do acupuncture. herbalist or TCM stores here too.
We happen to be in the area and we just checked it out only. But as a destination for tourists, not really and I would not make a special trip just to be here however. It does not have an appeal for me.
