Poon Hill Trek - memories you'll keep Having booked and confirmed my dates Roshan was quick to reply, he also provide me with a kit list. The permits were also obtained before I arrived in Pokhara.  1 st day of trek was slow for me it was warm and I did not prepare therefore struggled, but Roshan was patient and we made it to our tea house for the evening. Roshan explained about the flora and fauna as we ascended, he is very knowledgeable in most subjects and we discussed may topics over the 4 day trek. The food at each tea house is the same so one knows exactly what's to order.  One thing I learned was not to pack too much stuff and you can hire sleeping bag and poles in Pokhara. The night before summit was cold and an early start to see the sunrise at Poon Hill and we were fortunate to have clear skies and it was well worth it with amazing views. So if you are reading this and are looking for a guide who will provide a trek with memories you will talk about to your friends and family Roshan is that person.

I was in contact with Roshan for my ABC trek. He is a recommended guide for Treks around annaporna region. He has a in detail knowledge of various trek routes, recommendations as per season, provides a list of trekking gear etc. There are many guides in Pokhara and Kathmandu, therefore at times it is confusing whom to choose and what to look for. I think Roshan is what I was looking for.
