Island peak trek was challenging physically and mentally, but it was all worth the incredible views we had. We were five friends, and we never had such fun ever. Though trekking on this trail is not a piece of cake, we kept a positive mindset and didn't let the zeal fade. And hats off to our climbing guide, who helped us throughout the climb. Without his assistance and his patience towards us, it would not have been possible to complete the journey.

A fantastic experience of adventure that will be with me all my life. There are no words that can express my happiness and excitement from this journey. Terrifying, freezing, inspiring, and extreme are not enough to express the experience of my first Everest base camp trek.

My first and Taylor’s second Manaslu Circuit Trek went smoothly. It was quite challenging for me but was well worth. The scenario, the views of mountains and the trail were much extra than what I had imagined. Our accommodations were very basic teahouses and we had DalBhat for most of our lunches and dinners. But we were already informed about these things beforehand by our travel agency and the guide. The weather did cope with us for most of the days but we had two foggy days at last. We were thankful for this as it did not happen in the previous days. I was slower than Taylor and Bishnu, the guide, so they had to wait for me at many points. I am grateful for them and their patience. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Our travel agency was Himalayan Trekkers and it was our first trip with them. We found them as the experts in their field.

My itinerary was designed by the Himalayan Trekkers. I asked for a local guide-porter to assist me and I met Nema Tshering in Lukla. He was an experienced and a friendly person. We completed our journey without much problems. I really loved the view of the peaks from the Everest View Hotel and Kalapattar rather from the base camp but I felt butterflies in my stomach after I reached the base camp. I also loved the chocolate cake in Namche Bazar. The flight from Lukla back to Ktm got cancelled and I had to spend another day in Lukla. But, it was okay. Weather in Himalayas are not stable
