This bicycle trip is a great way to see some less visited parts of Kampala and get a glimpse of every day life in the city. Bert is a great guide and knows a lot of people in the local community. Highlights were a boat...More

Take an interest in the life of the Ugandan people, and Usman - the tour guide - will happily speak about it all. Including his personal life. Our eyes were opened to just how tough the world can be for the people working in Uganda....More

I took this tour as I was in Kampala for business and had a free morning. I spend too much time in Africa just in meetings in western hotels and I wanted to get out and see how people live. I was met by Bert,...More

Bert Dassen is really nice guy. We spent a pleasant day travelling in the villages on our bicycle, talking to local people, listening to the stories told by Bert. His knowledge and involvement of Uganda people is excellent. Really our best day in kampala

This was a really amazing experience. I took the cultural tour and rode through villages, a marketplace, visited a school, and took a boat ride. It gives you a sense of what life is like on the outskirts of Kampala. The tour guide, Asuman, was...More

Great way to spend a morning/afternoon. Lovely to get out and ride through the countryside (and have two boat rides on lake victoria). I guess it might look expensive for a few hours but a large chunk of the money is going into community projects...More
