I spent 2 hours learning all about the history, culture and nature of Uganda - fascinating information here. Even the building was an architectual innovation at the time but now everything is in great need of repair, reinterpretation and overall renovation. I would encourage people...More

The museum is in a great building that needs a lot of loving care. The exhibit is extensive but not well described. Because they wanted to tear the museum down it is essential to go there and support the museum.

Great place, but could use some renovations and expansion of collections. The Technology section is missing, management could invite partners to grow this section.

The museum is a massive hive of information on Uganda's history, however there is so much information, there is a lot to plough through in one visit. They have a lot of artefacts and visuals which help to make it more interesting. The cultural houses...More

The Uganda Museum offers a good peek into the history and culture of Ugandan tribes, and also contains displays on pre-historic man, and a science pavilion. The history of the Baganda is the best covered. The science pavilion also has a display of Uganda's coming...More
