The Uganda museum is such Avery nice place for the lovers of Ugandan history and culture, the professional guides who tell a story and make you feel as if you there at the moment, I just loved the vehicles that disappeared a couple of years...More

A busy day with lots of screaming school children. The outside old village huts were closed and inside exhibits looked a bit old and tired

A great disappointment, the National Museum told me very little about Uganda and its history, the different tribes, peoples, the history, development. But the bookseller outside had some things of interest.

If you want to learn about a piece of history of Uganda, this is the place to visit. Although it can be crowded as schools are almost always on fieldtrips but still a good way to start your lesson about Uganda.

Uganda museum is centrally located on Kira Road. It offers a history of many of Ugandas colonial time. Generally it's interesting but i felt alot more can be added. A good visit though.

So the museum itself is small, dark, not attended, doesn't have much on display, looks much more like a school Museum with images and built representations than a National museum. But apparently if you have a guide you can make something out if it.
