Oh what a sad and abandoned place! Everything full of dust, as it has been untouched for decades. Did not understand why the a dam was showcased? All without any concept. And why a whole room for olympic games? Waste of money and time!

I wasn't expecting much from the museum but was highly impressed. Admission comes with your personal tour guide (ours was Issac). He was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of my questions and gave his personal opinion on topics I am a fan of history...More

The museum is well laid out, from pre historic to modern day, the curator was also quite knowledgeable.

Really a subpar museum with nothing of substance. Old tools, beat up Model A. Paraphernalia from oil & gas companies and assorted skeletons. Sadly no history of the Ugandan people, culture or governments. The day we went no electricity. Not worth the time.

The national museum of Uganda is almost a museum of a museum: so old-fashioned that it becomes a curiosity in itself. Nice but small ethnographic collection, a more or less run down natural history collection, and strange modern, sponsored exhibits on milk and oil... Great...More

I would expect the history of Uganda to be kept in this museum, however, i was a bit disappointed. There was not much to see and the place is small for a national museum. However, it is worth visiting inorder to know about Uganda in...More

A number of good exhibits from Ugandan history. The place is not laid out all that well, and it could be kept up a little better.
