This beach is absolutely stunning, the food is simple but delicious and drinks are always cold. Cant get much better than this :)

If you need a quick break from Freetown River No2 Beach is a great option. The food there is v good and the beer is cold. You can also get the wood carvings etc for a good price from Joseph and his friends.

You can get here either by vehicle or by a short boat crossing. The boat crossing from Africa Point / Tokeh is about 20 secs and costs le 5000 (50p) On the beach itself are groups of chairs / parasols / tables. These cost le...More

By far the best beach in freetown. White sand,clear sea,peaceful,friendly locals. Well worth a visit.
