We booked a roundtrip through Rwanda with a gorilla and chimpanzee tracking. Eric was our guide, driver and photographer and he was amazing. Very knowledgable about this amazing country and the apes itself. If you organise your trip with Wolf ask for Eric as guide! I can recommend to have a photographer when you visit the apes. Eric made amazing pics and we could enjoy the apes without thinking of the right angle and light!

The trip with WOLF-DMC to Rwanda was beyond exceptional in every way! Having a company that understands Rwanda is intrinsic to the overall experience, and WOLF do this at the very highest level.
From their guides & vehicles, to their expert choice of accommodation and deep knowledge of this beautiful country, they seamlessly handle every last detail of your trip. I had high expectations for my visit, but they were all far exceeded. Thank you for taking such good care of me WOLF.

Our tour with “Wolf” which was arranged through “Ranger Buck Safari’s” was nothing short of brilliant! A well arranged excursion to see the Gorilla’s In addition many other sites and experiences were had. Our guide “Nuuru” was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and accommodating!! Well done to all of you for a truly remarkable time in Rwanda. Thank you

We had the most amazing time in Rwanda. Our guide Fred, went above and beyond and truly showed us the beauty of the country. We are leaving with a special place in our hearts for this beautiful country and the wonderful people. We cannot wait to return!!

There are simply not enough words to describe our gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda with WOLF guides and all the travel logistics, bravo! We spent over 10 days traveling from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park and then on safari in Akagera National Park. What an incredible experience! WOLF Africa created a journey that was not only seamless, but with so many elements working perfectly - unless you have been to Rwanda to will never really be able to fully understand, it really is the land of a thousand hills.
What stood out to us was that WOLF went beyond just travel—they left us with a meaningful holiday where we not only experienced new places but left changed as people. One of the highlights was WOLF Bwiza Project in Rwanda, named after the Kinyarwanda word for "beautiful." This project... it reflects on something deeper and touched us in such a beautiful way and allow us to make a real difference. Visiting The Bwiza Project was a unique and heartwarming experience—it stood out as special moment in my many travels around the world that I will always treasure.
From the landscapes that changes as we traveled to connections with local communities, WOLF Africa really made our trip so very unforgettable and this is not just something I am saying, I left Rwanda knowing that the experience has changed me. Moses, our guide, was so deeply passionate about showing us the beauty of Rwanda while making sure none of the equations we had felt uncomfortable - you not only learn about the destination but about the people and impact along the way in a respectful and professional manner. Spending time with Ester our specialist guide also gave us a better understanding of everyday life in Rwanda—not just of the tourism sights but so much more and deeper that the country has to offer. WOLF Africa is the perfect travel company in Rwanda if you are looking for more than just a gorilla trek or just a driver taking you around to touristy places.
The most spectacular experience was, of course, encountering the mountain gorilla family face to face. I never knew these gorillas cannot survive in zoos or outside their natural habitat. I also learned so much that was new to me during our expedition, but a very special moment was our time spending three days on safari in Akagera National Park after our trek. I had no idea what to expect! I have been on safari many times across Africa in the past, but this experience stood out as an absolute treasure—so unique, so authentic, and so masterfully planned by the WOLF team.
If you’re looking for a company that combines amazing adventures with a purpose in Rwanda then WOLF Africa is the way to go!
