Small but excellent art museum featuring well-mounted paintings and large sculptures by Mozambican artists. Each work is labelled with name of artist, title (in Portuguese, but usually understandable), when born, and when the piece was created. Two floors.

The small art museum only has a couple of galleries, but includes some nice works. Photography is not allowed. It is located a few metres from the corner of Av. Karl Marx & Av. Ho Chi Min.

Showcase of mozambican paintings through history. The massive wood carvings were surprisingly impressive. It is a small collection but worth the time visiting maybe for an hour and a half.

Small museum in the centre of Maputo which gives a good impression of Mozambican modern art. Paintings and sculptures show a great talent for the bizarre and fantastical.
