This fort is made of local volcanic rock and is an incredible citadel. The views from here are fabulous of the sea, race course, mountains and city. Great history as it was never needed for protection as Pt Louis was never attacked. Canons on top...More

Visited the fort on a Tuesday. Parked at Cathedral (need parking ticket from Post Office - paid Rs600 fine). Good place to orientate yourself in terms of the layout of the city - fine views!
