We called to view the gorges for a photo stop during the course of a day-long trip around the south of the island. The views were very nice and, given more time, a lengthier tour around the park would probably have been good.

If you plan on doing Macabee trail, please be reasonably fit and prepared to slog it through some mud and steep inlines. I planned to MTB it, but very happy I didn't! Well worth the effort. Amazing hike...take sunblock, mozzie repellant and plenty water/ snacks....More

Yes certainly. You can arrange the guide hire through the hotel I’m sure or at the 3 gorges area. There’s lots of guides there and all quite knowledgeable about the hiking. Make sure you’re fit. The hikes are not very high... More

Normally when you book a taxi, you book them for the whole trip/day. If you decide to go to hike the driver is waiting there for you. Be sure to agree on a price in advance. Public transport with buses would be indeed a... More
