It is an old residence that is like a museum with a restaurant. The furniture belongs to the previous owners and is worth seeing. I had a wonderful lunch at the balcony and enjoyed both the food and the beautiful garden. They serve regional creole...More

Beautiful and interesting visit in a peaceful setting. We also enjoyed the walk in the garden and to the waterfalls. Meal was amazing (fish salad, fish/beef curry with different sauces and vanilla ice-cream), we were welcomed by a very kind lady who also gave us...More

Old colonial style wooden residence situated near Moka. All original features and furniture worth seeing. Visited as part of a cruise shore excursion. Served local snacks and drinks at end of house and garden tour.

Lunch was the best food we had in two weeks on Mauritius. Highly recommend! People were really nice, garden was lovely, waterfall amazing, house was beautiful, almost like a time capsule. Hope they have the money to renovate it properly, would be a shame to...More

Maison Eureka is much more than "just" a grand colonial estate. First it was the beutiful garden with heart shaped planting that immediately touched my husband's and my soul. The estate itself has probably been refurbished, for it is in excellent condition, giving a good...More

The visit to Eureka cost 300 RS a person. The building and the rooms take you back to the colonial time, but you are rather fast finished with walking through the house. There is no information about the history of the place unfortunately. There is...More
