I loved this place. The house is shabby but charming. It is great to be able to see authentic furniture and decorations! We also went down to the waterfalls which unfortunately were a huge disappointment. The place is dirty - there was a poop, nappy...More
Wonderful diversion to visit old man le Clezios house in Moka.
Great feeling of the true past in this refined yet shabby colonial home.
Long back lawn and path down to the falls. Dont miss them.

Firstly very difficult to find because of poor signage. The building needs some serious attention soon. The ground floor doesn't seem to have been cleaned for ages and the first floor is abandoned but for an estate agents office . Gardens pretty bad too with...More
A good quality mean with Mauritian authenticity in a calm, relaxed setting overlooking beautiful grounds. Go back in time with a visit around the house which retains its old colonial charm. Good service, good food in beautiful setting.

Old colonial style wooden residence situated near Moka. All original features and furniture worth seeing. Visited as part of a cruise shore excursion. Served local snacks and drinks at end of house and garden tour.
