Amazing art gallery and music venue. A real institution in Tana! Especially Friday nights are busy when there's different bands playing.

Is'Art is a bit out of the way but if you check their Facebook Page for what's going on on you can often catch an interesting music show and/or art exhibition. Drinks are good and they supposedly sell food as well but I've never tried.

Otherwise known as The Laundry (La Teinturerie) this is one of the most interesting spaces in Tana and its driven exclusively by artists, musicians and people who like being around them! Beautiful people, beautiful work, truly inspired!!

Really big place and most probably here you can find everything you want to buy in Madagascar. We came here before leaving Madagascar and we didn't need to visit any other places.

Thank you for your remark that can help a lot. Otherwise, I would like to inform everyone that Is'Art Galery is a contemporary art galery, not a local handcraft shop, as you mentionned le Marché de la Digue. Each work that we sell or exhibit...More

This gallery has an interesting catalogue of contemporary Malagasy artists. There isn't much of a art market yet in Madagascar or even Antananarivo but these guys are an engine in creating it. On top of the exhibitions they do organize other art related program like...More
