You will be spoiled by choice of Lesotho curios items at reasonably priced items) There is a downstairs and upstairs. It did feel a bit bare in some areas and they could use it better with more products to sell. Also, the prices on the top shop differ from the bottom shop for woven items. Another warning is the parking... More

I went to this shop to but some traditional Lesotho craft items. A nice and well-stocked shop, with responsive staff. I also found it to be a nice shopping environment, with no hustle, being pushed and pulled in all directions, as one would ordinarily find in such shops targeting tourists. Being a stand-alone store one does not encounter the traffic... More

The shop itself is pretty good. Very touristy. The staff downstairs try to be helpful but struggled go upstairs and meet the lady there. She's very good and obliging and helped us with directions. Prices very reasonable!

The Basothu speak Se-Sotho and live in Lesotho....and their capital Maseru isn't one of Africa's most exciting destinations, so curb your enthusiasm and make a massive big deal out of their famous Big Hat Shop. Lesotho has the world's only Hat themed flag. Hats are a big deal to Batotho's. It featured on 2 of the 3 flags they have... More
