This is a very historically significant place and you really only get to know that once you've climbed up and reached the flat top of the mountain. There are ruins that date back years and years, as well as well kept cemeteries of Basotho royalty....More

There isn't THAT much to see, but I would still consider this a MUST for visitors with a historical interest. The walk up to the mountain isn't that bad if you follow the tourist trail, but the climb up the old trail is more interesting....More

A great experience to give you a summarised history lesson on Lesotho. Also includes why this monument is sacred to the Basotho nation. There is also a bar and restaurant to enjoy after the tour. Very affordable too. Bar and restaurant staff are friendly. The...More

Educational tour to learn from our Lesotho citizens. Drink local beer, dressed their clothes and have a look at their house and how it is built.

The hike is totally worth it. Try and get a guide to go with and tell king Moshoeshoe story. Very interesting and the views are AMAZING. Carry water, wear long sleeves and a sun hat and a light snack. It's M20/R20 to go up.

Our tour guide was very knowledgable, which made a big difference to the experience. I don't think the trip out there would be good without a guide. We learned a lot about Basotho history.
